β€’ Ziply Fiber is based in Kirkland, Washington β€’ This is a remote position β€’ Building internet while reaching real people β€’ Focus on areas traditionally underserved by mainstream internet companies β€’ Determine customer service solutions, order coordination, planning, budgeting, and project oversight of a geographical area β€’ Partnering will be crucial to be successful in this role

🎯 Requirements

β€’ B.S. in Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience, or a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an outside plant position. β€’ Must demonstrate an understanding of ROW, private easement and permitting with local, state, and federal entities. β€’ Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of outside plant design, cable count layout, and capacities. β€’ Must demonstrate an understanding of fiber products and services. β€’ Must demonstrate an understanding of construction methods and typical related costs for each method. β€’ Must be able to demonstrate a broad network understanding. β€’ Access networks FTTP/FTTN BBDLC network Ethernet Services Feeder/Distribution facilities Customer Prem solutions MDU/MTU solutions SONET Wireless Transport/Data dependencies. β€’ CPE solutions Must demonstration an understanding of Outside Plant (OSP) architectures consisting of underground, direct buried, aerial, and building applications. β€’ Must demonstrate an understanding of PON architectures to include centralized and distributed split, and inside wiring solutions. β€’ Desire database experience which could include creation, scripting, and programming (i.e., Microsoft SQL). β€’ Desire GIS experience with platforms such as ARC GIS and QGIS. β€’ Desire experience navigating CAD-based drawing systems. β€’ Must be proficiency in common office tools such as Excel, Work, PowerPoint. β€’ Desire experience with common analytics tools (i.e., Alteryx, PowerBI) . β€’ Must have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross functionally to achieve positive outcomes. β€’ Desire experience managing multiple projects concurrently. β€’ Must work well in a team environment driven by partnerships. β€’ Must be able to work independently with minimal direction. β€’ Understand LEAN concepts is desirable.
