Description

• The Livestock Marketing Intern will support key marketing and communication initiatives • Collaborate with Livestock Marketing Communications on initiatives and tactics • Lead development of tactics from initiation to execution • Provide feedback on drafts and manage reviews • Formulate an internal communication plan aligning tools with broader goals • Recommend social media enhancements and establish benchmarks • Assist with event planning and coordination • Collaborate with marketing communications for event assets • Define the scope of Market Research projects • Present a communication plan and rollout recommendations

Requirements

• Sophomore or above • Experience in Livestock welcomed, but not a requirement • Majoring in: Animal Science, Marketing, Business, or Communications or similar field • Computer experience: Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel; Acrobat Pro • Attention to detail, ability to work cross functionally in fast paced environment • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and deliver high performance and quality on deadline • Must demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, accountability, and willingness to accept challenges and lead change
