📋 Description
• As the Lead QA Engineer, ensure the quality and performance of 8020REI’s platforms and tools. • Be the sole QA resource at the company, responsible for implementing automated testing processes from scratch. • Leverage automation tools and work closely with development and design teams to deliver reliable and high-performing products. • Serve as a QA Leader, influencing product development strategies through a quality-first approach. • Communicate and champion QA standards and practices across interdisciplinary teams, leveraging leadership and management skills. • Set up and maintain the entire QA process from scratch, ensuring robust test coverage. • Collaborate closely with developers to understand and validate feature requirements.
🎯 Requirements
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred, though equivalent experience is also highly valued. • Proven experience as a QA Engineer, ideally with at least 5 years in a similar role. • Experience with both manual and automated testing processes. • Proficiency in E2E, integration, and unit testing. • Experience in both startup and corporate settings to bring a broad range of QA best practices. • Demonstrated ability to establish and scale QA processes independently. • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and automation tools. • Familiarity with Gherkin expressions and GitHub Actions for Continuous Testing. • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
