Description

• Design, develop, and maintain NewHomesMate's software applications and systems. • Perform code reviews and ensure code quality standards are met. • Contribute to the development of the engineering roadmap and ecosystem. • Lead technical design and architecture discussions, share experience with other engineers. • Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. • Create and maintain BE specific technical documentation. • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including product managers, designers, data quality managers, and other engineers. • Collaborate with non-engineering teams to identify and solve problems. • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development to identify new opportunities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend engineering, using any combination of Golang, JS/TS, and Python. • Solid experience with AWS or GCP. • Practical experience with Kubernetes. • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a knack for devising creative solutions to complex engineering challenges. • Proven leadership experience, with a focus on enhancing team technologies along with mentoring abilities, lead by example, and drive projects to successful completion. • Fluent English skills, both in writing and speaking, are essential. • A thorough approach to work, with an ability to manage broader vision and detail-oriented task. • AI/ML experience and active professional position: participation in tech conferences, OSS contributions, writing technical articles or maintaining a professional blog will be beneficial.
