📋 Description

• We are seeking an innovative and strategic Creative Art Director to lead the end-to-end creative process for both casual and casino game projects. • This role involves guiding the creative vision from initial concept to production-ready assets, managing both internal and external creative teams, and effectively communicating with stakeholders to ensure alignment. • The ideal candidate excels at providing clear creative direction, presenting concepts to stakeholders, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver exceptional game experiences. • Define and communicate the visual style, theme, and tone for new casual and casino games, creating compelling art directions that align with brand goals. • Oversee the end-to-end creative process, from early ideation and storyboarding to production-ready assets. • Provide clear and inspiring creative briefs to the art team, ensuring that concepts align with gameplay goals, market trends, and player expectations. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (game design, product management, marketing) to gather requirements and incorporate feedback into the creative direction. • Present art concepts and design solutions to stakeholders, explaining creative decisions and gathering input at key milestones. • Ensure transparent communication with leadership, stakeholders, and external partners throughout the project lifecycle. • Manage the creation of assets for characters, environments, UI/UX, animations, and marketing materials. • Oversee the development of game flows and ensure that all visual elements enhance the player experience and support gameplay mechanics. • Work closely with game designers and developers to ensure assets are production-ready, optimized, and seamlessly integrated into the game engine. • Lead and mentor a team of artists, animators, and designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. • Manage remote teams, external agencies, and freelance artists, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and quality standards. • Provide detailed and actionable feedback during reviews to ensure assets meet the creative vision and maintain consistency across projects. • Establish efficient pipelines and workflows for the creation and review of game assets. • Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies, including generative AI, to enhance efficiency and innovation without compromising quality. • Implement best practices for collaboration between internal teams and external contributors, including clear documentation and feedback loops. • Stay up to date on industry trends in casual and casino games, player preferences, and emerging art styles. • Explore and experiment with new visual formats, workflows, and tools to keep the team’s creative output fresh and competitive.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in game art direction, digital art, or visual design, including 3+ years of experience managing remote teams, agencies, or freelance contributors. • Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in casual and casino game design, including characters, environments, UI assets, and promotional visuals. • Proven experience overseeing the full creative process, from concept development to production-ready assets. • Proficiency in industry-standard tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, After Effects) and familiarity with game development workflows. • Ability to create presentations and communicate complex design ideas to stakeholders with clarity and confidence. • Strong understanding of game flows, UI/UX principles, and how art supports and enhances gameplay. • Experience with resource planning, scheduling, and vendor management to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery. • Experience working with major game publishers or in the iGaming industry (casino, poker, etc.) is preferred. • Familiarity with generative AI tools (MidJourney, Leonardo AI, DALL·E, Runway ML) for prototyping and concept development preferred. • Proficiency in 3D tools (Blender, Maya, or Cinema 4D) is a plus. • Knowledge of animation and motion design pipelines (Spine, After Effects) is a plus.
