Litigation Attorney

Description
• Provide legal advice, counsel, and representation for insureds and/or CSAA IG. • Prepare legal pleadings, motions, statements, trial briefs, etc. • Conduct personal injury litigation including jury trials and arbitration hearings. • Handle complex legal matters and projects. • Advocate on behalf of CSAA IG and its member insureds.
Requirements
• J.D. degree and active admission to practice law in California. • 5-8+ years of experience in insurance defense practice. • Courtroom and trial experience. • Ability to understand customer goals and business processes. • Knowledge of personal injury law and procedure. • General liability insurance coverage knowledge. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Computer skills in MS Office and online research tools. • Knowledge of medical-legal issues related to tort law. • Independent thinking and client advocacy skills.
