• Interested in applying your wealth of technical knowledge and experience towards an opportunity in the medical field and improving the lives of people with diabetes? • The candidate will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, massaging and analysis of big data. • The role will also contribute to defining and implementing Big Data Strategy for the organization along with driving the implementation of IT solutions for the business. • You will be responsible for designing, developing and deploying advanced data science solutions to uncover customer, product and operational insights from complex datasets. • Candidate should be able to work on a geographically distributed team. • Additionally, they will be working in a technology-driven environment utilizing the latest tools and techniques. • The ideal candidate should have rigorous analytical capabilities and a pragmatic mindset to help solve our most complex business problems. • Highly sought-after qualities include versatility and a desire to continuously learn, improve and empower the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Computer Science) plus at least 4-6 years of recent experience • Experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization and data mining, preferably in the medical device or healthcare industry • Experience with SQL, building dashboards, data transformation and analysis tools (ie Python, R) • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Databricks, QuickSight, Power BI) • Strong knowledge of data governance principles, data integration, data warehousing and ETL processes • Familiarity with data privacy and security regulations, such as HIPAA and GDPR • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate technical findings into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders • Comfortable working asynchronously with a distributed team • Education in, or experience with, machine learning (Preferred) • Experience working in an agile environment (Preferred)
