• Design, validate, and solve strategic questions addressing business opportunities across the organization • Manage the creation of mathematical models to deliver business value by leveraging statistical practices, operations research techniques, and data analysis • Create data-driven stories that address strategic business questions, supported by strong analytical skills with a solid foundation in programming (e.g. R, python) • Collaborate with other teams to develop novel ways of meeting business objectives utilizing cutting-edge technologies and tools • Develop reporting/dashboards and communicate results to senior management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience • 8+ years of relevant experience in the biological data analytics/science in a relevant industrial or academic setting • 10+ years of experience in analytics • Strong understanding of data analytics, structured and unstructured data analysis, predictive modeling techniques, and data visualization as well as a good command of emerging methodologies like artificial intelligence • Experience with data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages (e.g. Python), and/or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R) • Experience engaging cross-functional teams to build a strong data infrastructure • Outstanding communication skills, particularly in conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences • Ability to travel / work in Europe and other countries for extensive periods when needed
