• Join ABBYY and be part of a team that celebrates your unique work style. • The Director of Technical Program Manager will lead the strategy, optimization, and execution of cross-functional technical programs. • Manage and mentor a team of program managers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence. • Collaborate with senior leadership, Product Management, and core AI/ML teams to define the platform’s vision and roadmap. • Lead the identification of market trends, customer needs, and technical feedback to prioritize platform features. • Oversee the development of platform components, including APIs, SDKs, documentation, and tools. • Drive cross-functional programs focused on platform optimization and operational excellence, working with Cloud Ops, DevOps, SRE, and Product Engineering teams. • Identify and prioritize opportunities to enhance platform efficiency, usability, and reliability. • Work with design and engineering leaders to implement improvements, advancing the platform’s robustness. • Ensure alignment and effective collaboration across Cloud Ops, DevOps, and Product Engineering teams. • Lead proactive risk management to maintain program momentum. • Build and manage a team of technical program managers, providing mentorship and fostering a high-performance culture. • Establish best practices for technical program management, championing continuous improvement. • Cultivate strong relationships across departments, promoting collaboration and aligning work with organizational priorities. • Drive a culture of innovation within the platform team, seeking improvements in integration and performance. • Partner with AI/ML teams to assess new technologies and incorporate them into platform development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; Master’s degree preferred. • 10+ years of experience in technical program management or a related role, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity. • Proven expertise in managing complex technical programs, especially in cloud platforms, APIs, SDKs, and AI/ML technologies. • Strong leadership skills, with experience building and managing high-performance technical program management teams. • Excellent communication and influence skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to diverse stakeholders, including executive leadership. • Extensive experience working with SRE and operations teams to develop strategies for reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency. • Mastery of project management and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana, Slack, Microsoft Teams). • Passion for technology, innovation, and delivering user-centric platform solutions.
