📋 Description

• Our everyday digital experiences are in the midst of a realtime revolution. • At the heart of our mission lies a commitment to putting developers first. • Working at Ably means helping to build the infrastructure and technology that will power and shape the future of the internet. • As Ably continues to scale, we’re expanding our small buy dynamic Finance team by hiring a talented and proactive Finance Assistant. • You’ll take ownership of the bookkeeping function, working closely with our Finance Manager, Senior Financial Analyst and VP of Finance. • You’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial reports, ongoing control activities, and optimizing processes to help the Finance function scale efficiently.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as a Finance Assistant, Bookkeeper or similar role, ideally in a fast-growing startup or scaleup environment. • Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar). • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all tasks. • Strong time management skills, with the ability to work independently and autonomously. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with the immediate and wider team. • A proactive attitude, with the ability to identify problems and provide solutions. • A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive financial data responsibly.
