📋 Description
• ActioNet has an opportunity for a Backup /Recovery Engineer Junior (JR) , this role is remote and based in Suitland, MD. • Apply expertise as a generalist or specialist to solve complex problems requiring ingenuity and creativity. • Perform work with some direction; reviewed for desired results from a long-term perspective. • Support decisions that help the organization achieve critical objectives. • Assist with daily activities related to the configuration and operation of systems (mainframe, mini, or client/server based). • Support system optimization and resource utilization. • Perform system capacity analysis and planning. • Provide assistance to users in accessing and using business systems.
🎯 Requirements
• Education: Associate degree • Experience: 1 year of technical experience in IT, including: Microcomputers, DOS, and Windows operating systems • Office application suites (word processors, spreadsheets, presentation applications, and databases) • Client-server applications • Experience providing daily user support for hardware and software issues over the phone and in person. • Ability to respond to user trouble tickets based on established Service-Level Agreements (SLAs). • Proficient with common helpdesk software applications to track trouble tickets, histories, and problem resolution. • Experience assisting users with installation and configuration issues related to supported software and hardware, as well as general network access.
