📋 Description
• Acuity Brands is seeking a Senior Cloud Software engineer to join its Cloud Center of Excellence department. • Bring your passion for working with diverse engineering teams to help them create, manage and evolve technical health and capability of Acuity’s software products and services. • Develop innovative tools and services which remove common pain points for our engineering teammates. • Contribute to platform initiatives to achieve enterprise success, harnessing the power of Kubernetes, Cloud, and Integrations to drive innovation and excellence. • Develop and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery plans and automate recovery procedures to minimize downtime.
🎯 Requirements
• 5-8 years of professional software development or automation experience in languages such as Java, C#, Python, or Golang. • Working through all phases of the software development lifecycle. • Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems. • Experience using scripting tools such as Bash and PowerShell to automate tasks. • Experience deploying or operating software services on public cloud providers like Azure, AWS, and GCP. • Experience with Kubernetes and Containers. • Experience with monitoring and alerting tools like Grafana, Kiali, Prometheus, Log Workspaces, and PagerDuty. • Experience with running, operating, and maintaining production systems.
