📋 Description

• EZ Texting is looking for a passionate and experienced engineering leader to build and lead a high-performing, cross-functional team. • Define and execute our architectural vision, ensuring scalability, security, and operational excellence. • Responsible for scaling and securing our cloud infrastructure, refining CI/CD processes, and embedding best practices across our engineering teams.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, or related fields • 5+ years of leadership experience, including managing and mentoring engineers, driving strategy, and leading initiatives • Deep expertise in cloud platforms (GCP, AWS), including networking, security, and best practices • Strong proficiency in Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, and container orchestration • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and configuration management (Ansible, etc.) • Fluency in scripting (Python, Bash) for automation and operational tasks • Proven track record of defining and executing an architectural vision to drive reliability, scalability, and efficiency • Experience defining and implementing SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs to drive reliability improvements • Proficient in agile team software development and strong project management • Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration, working with engineering and product teams to align goals • Strong communication skills, with a focus on clear documentation, knowledge sharing, and decision-making transparency • Passion for driving a high-performing engineering culture and mentoring engineers • A proactive, hands-on approach with a bias for action and problem-solving
