Description

• AcuityMD is a software and data platform that accelerates access to medical technology. • We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our growing Infrastructure team. • You will be architecting our cloud infrastructure, strengthening our security best practices, and improving the scalability of our product. • Collaborate and improve our existing observability and alerting solutions for our production systems. • Increase deployment velocity & reliability by extending CI/CD adoption across all services and environments. • Automate our cloud architecture via Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions. • Work closely with other engineers to solve reliability and development velocity problems. • Provide architecture guidance for all new services and infrastructure. • Provide technical leadership and direction on projects to choose the best architecture, tools, and design.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a professional software engineer. • Enterprise experience with Kubernetes. • Passion and interest in improving engineering security practices and security tasks. • Experience with GCP/AWS and cloud architectures/services. • Experience working with infrastructure provisioning tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, etc. • Experience enabling CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, CircleCI, GitLab, Jenkins, or others. • Solid background in computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and design patterns. • Experience in the reliability and performance space. • Nice to Haves: Experience with Google Cloud Platform. • Experience with PostgreSQL. • Familiarity with SOC 2 compliance.
