Description

• We are seeking an experienced Hands-On QA and Automation Manager with expertise in testing system-level backend solutions • Focus on backend software controlling hardware configurations and systems • Define and implement test strategies for system-level backend environments • Lead the development of automated test frameworks for backend systems • Manage a small QA team while contributing to backend testing and automation • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for comprehensive test coverage • Conduct detailed testing of configuration management and system integration • Drive operational automation testing for reliable system updates and disaster recovery processes.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in QA and test automation development, specifically in system-level backend environments • At least 5 years of experience in test automation, developing frameworks and solutions for backend systems • At least 2 years of experience in a management or leadership role in system-level testing • Proven ability to design test strategies and automation frameworks for edge devices and backend infrastructure • Proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages for backend automation • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible) in backend environments • Strong system-level debugging and troubleshooting skills for complex hardware-software systems • Advantage: Experience with DSP, optical systems, or edge computing. • Familiarity with system monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
