• The Sr Release & Compliance manages all aspects of software release and compliance activities. • Plans and coordinates to ensure aligned release schedules, participates in review meetings, approves completed portions as needed, and facilitates communication channels between software development staff to ensure alignment. • Defines release schedules and adheres to company compliance procedures. • Solves technical and logistical issues as they arise. • Uses technical expertise to participate in functionality meetings and suggests changes to satisfy business and client needs. • Develops comprehensive plans to track and integrates multiple inputs, provide direction to internal teams, and conduct status reviews. • Implement Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for all regulated software products. • Establish strong working relationship with, and be primary contact point for, the Adaptive Quality department and all cross-functional assessments. • Work with Production IT to establish a reliable rhythm and SOP for production deployments. • Assist in the development and maintenance of SDLC documentation • Continuously improve release and deployment planning and execution • Coordinate release scheduling and communication between development and production IT teams • All other duties as assigned
• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of related experience managing release of large-scale, multi-system deployments; preferably in a regulated organization. • Master’s degree and 5+ years of experience • Experience with regulations such as GxP, FDA, and CLIA • Experience managing large-scale software releases in a must; managing components beyond software (hardware, other coordinated processes, etc.) is a plus. • Experience building strong collaborative relationships across cross functional teams. • Demonstrated ability to managing projects that have met or exceeded quality targets and were delivered on schedule. • Must be highly organized and detailed oriented, driving continuous process improvement within a team.
