Description

• Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly. • The Backbook Risk Team is responsible for Affirm’s backbook strategy and operational execution. • This team manages collection and recovery processes while maximizing NACO reductions. • You will guide the backbook operations team to grow and scale domestically and internationally. • Seeking a dynamic leader with experience in process improvement, data analysis, and project management. • Lead the team in writing and maintaining the policies that guide backbook risk processes. • You will craft strategies to drive continuous improvement and foster collaboration. • Requires extensive use of data analytics to improve collection strategies. • Collaborate with Risk and Finance teams to facilitate discussions on portfolio performance and loss forecasting. • Join us in changing consumer finance through better data and technology.

Requirements

• Passion to redefine the lending and financial industry for the better. • 6+ years of work experience in operational roles within Fintech/Banking. • 4+ years of project management experience. • Experience with data visualization tools is a must, data querying skills are a bonus. • Proven understanding of risk fundamentals (experience with both consumer and business risk management practices, an understanding of industry risk trends.) • Ability to communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Intelligence + Humility.
