Description

• Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest. • This role will report into the Design Systems & Growth UX team and will design best-in-class communications. • The Design Systems team is a small group of systems thinkers & connectors focused on building, scaling, maturing, and improving the user experience across our surfaces. • Lead the design of end to end growth UX initiatives and design scalable systems, experiences, and frameworks with a focus on clarity, performance, high craft and visual luster. • Partner closely with Engineering, Research, Content Design, Product Management, Product Marketing, Brand and Compliance & Legal to execute delightful user experiences.

Requirements

• 7+ years experience in communications & growth strategy, user experience, communications design or product focused roles • This position requires either equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field • Hands on experience in designing components and contributing to the development of design systems. • Exceptional visual design & information architecture skills with a balanced understanding of ‘just right’ design & timeliness • High level proficiency with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Contentful, SFMC • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Lottiefiles, WCAG • Comfort in ambiguity: you are able to self-direct, prioritize, and clearly communicate with stakeholders in shifting environments • Reliability: you communicate clearly and follow through • Humility: you recognize the efforts & importance of all contributors to the Design System & Design
