Description

• Afresh is on a mission to eliminate food waste and make fresh food accessible to all. • The first A.I.-powered solution optimizes ordering, forecasting, and store operations for fresh food departments in brick-and-mortar grocers. • Working from the Data Science and Analytics team, you’ll partner with stakeholders on our Customer teams to measure and demonstrate our product’s impact and help drive improvements. • Your responsibilities will include designing experiments, developing product analytics, and becoming an expert in data analytics pipelines and core metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Informatics, Information Systems or another quantitative field • 4+ years of relevant work experience (or Masters degree with 2+ years of relevant work experience or PhD with 1+ years of relevant work experience) • Experience with experimental design, econometrics, and/or causal inference is a plus but not required • Expert level skills at SQL (experience with dbt is a plus but not required) • Expertise with Python, R, or a similar data science scripting language • Experience with a standard data science software ecosystem: Jupyter Notebooks, pandas, scikit-learn; or RStudio, tidyverse, etc. • Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar
