📋 Description
• Responsible for implementing AFSP’s fundraising and program initiatives within assigned market area and working with chapter(s) in or around service area. • Implement AFSP Out of the Darkness Community Walks and other approved fundraising within the assigned market, including additional fundraising events. • Responsible for development and support of the Chapter board and committees within the market. • Develop and maintain working relationships with community leaders and organizations to promote AFSP’s message, build support for our mission and increase involvement in AFSP events and programs. • Responsible for fiscal management, including relationships with vendors, handling cash, expense management and working with National Office on accounts payable and receivables.
🎯 Requirements
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in non-profit program delivery and peer to peer special event fundraising • Experience using general office technology; Microsoft Office Suite • Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred) • 3+ years’ experience in non-profit program delivery and peer to peer special event fundraising (Preferred) • Strong interpersonal and communications skills required • Strong public speaking skills
