Description

• AIChE is a professional society for chemical engineers. • The RAPID Manufacturing Institute partners with the DOE for process industries transformation. • Project Manager facilitates technical and outreach activities within RAPID. • Monitor research projects and engage RAPID members and community.

Requirements

• BS in chemical engineering or related discipline from an accredited university • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills (verbal and written) • Experience leading and motivating a team or group of individuals in a project or project-like environment • Excellent planning, organization and scheduling skills • Experience with MS Office (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook) • Ability adapt to new situations and quickly problem solve when issues arise • Experience in chemical engineering science and process development • Demonstrated knowledge of basic Project Management principles • Experience with corporate, academic, government, and non-profit organizations • Familiarity with team management (e.g., MS Teams), project management (e.g., Smartsheets) and web conferencing (e.g., Zoom) software
