Description

• Conduct and oversee general ledger activities and certain functional areas of AIQ accounting. • Manage the work of a Staff Accountant, accounts payable, and payroll. • Collaborate closely with the department for month-end reporting. • Prepare draft financial statements and oversee bank reconciliations. • Ensure compliance with technical accounting and tax matters. • Participate in the annual audit and income tax engagements. • Implement efficient accounting processes and scalable systems. • Monitor and recommend improvements to internal controls.

Requirements

• 4+ years of related experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a high-growth and/or SaaS environment. • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting • Proven ability to understand technical guidance and complete complex accounting entries and reconciliations • Successful experience managing the month-end close cycle to timely completion, including preparation of draft financial statements • Experience in related functional areas including accounts payable, payroll, and high-volume payment processing • Experience supervising the work of others • Demonstrated drive for accuracy and attention to detail • Prior experience with implementing and/or administering ERP and other accounting systems • Understanding of internal control frameworks • Analytical approach and problem-solving expertise • Strong communication skills • High level of customer service
