• About Us: • Airbase is the top-ranked modern spend management platform for businesses with 100-5,000 employees. • About the Role: • As Head of Procurement Strategy, you will have a unique impact at Airbase by directly influencing the vision and success of our Guided Procurement offering. • What You’ll Do: • Primary responsibilities (90% of the role): Build pipeline with our marketing team and work with our sales team to win new customers. • Be the face of Airbase in the procurement community. • Actively pursue opportunities externally that represent Airbase in the Procurement community; this will likely require 20-30% travel. • Engage in community-building activities in the Procurement industry (online and in-person). • Collaborate and contribute with our marketing team to design and drive webinars, e-books, and other content. • Build and manage Airbase’s Procurement Customer Advisory Board. • Secondary responsibilities (10% of the role): Collaborate and create content with our onboarding and implementation team. • Incorporate customer POV into product solutions and messaging. • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to streamline internal procurement processes. • Collaborate with our product team to influence product strategy and roadmap.

Requirements

• 7+ years experience in Procurement or Strategic Sourcing. • Demonstrated experience of active participation in the procurement community, like speaking engagements. • Experience developing and implementing procurement processes at a high-growth technology company. • Experience driving results through the negotiation process such as contract negotiation and supplier performance. • Experience leading and executing decisions across an organization. • Knowledge of the modern (post-2018) procurement software and technology landscape. • Project management, and basic financial analysis skills. • Nice to have: Professional qualification/certification from related organizations (CPM, CPSM, APICS).
