📋 Description
• Provide critical input and be able to influence technical direction. • Influence and collaborate with stakeholders to adopt team goals and roadmaps. • Work with cross functional partners (product managers, MLEs, DS, Analytics etc) to design and deliver high-quality systems. • Design and implement backend service to drive organic bookings and improve user experience • Lead efforts to architect, prototype, build and launch solutions for host or listing success. • Mentor engineers on day to day basis to ensure quality and directions, both within and outside of the team
🎯 Requirements
• 6+ years of industry experience as backend engineer, inclusive MS or PhD in relevant fields. • Experience in building and scaling high-quality and high-traffic products (or systems). • Ability to evaluate technical approaches and design product solutions to solve real-world problems. • Ability to drive alignment, manage projects and effectively collaborate with stakeholders. • Mentorship to junior developers • Experience working in data-heavy domains is a plus
