📋 Description

• Data is a competitive advantage for AirGarage. • As an early member of this small but mighty team, you'll help build and maintain the world’s best parking database. • You’ll play a critical role in ensuring that the company’s data is maximized.

🎯 Requirements

• A degree in engineering, science, math, or a related analytical field. • 5 - 10 years of experience in Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering. • Experience with the modern data stack (Snowflake / dbt / Polytomic / Hex or equivalents). • Advanced fluency in SQL and Python (bonus for Snowpark) — knowing how to write intricate queries and build automated pipelines. • Prior experience with data modeling and writing performant queries in a data warehouse setting on large datasets. • Passion for data — you're excited by the opportunity to clean up messy datasets and obsess over how to bring data to the table for decision-making. • Extreme attention to detail and nuance — this is a critical quality when the stakes are high and trust is everything to our partners. • Innate curiosity — proactively asking questions and independently chasing down the answers to those questions. • Systems-thinker — you understand all the inter-connected parts of a process and know how a change in one part of a system will affect other parts of the system. • A growth mindset — you should be a lifelong learner, hungry to challenge yourself and grow.
