Description

• Educate and influence stakeholders and engineering teams on effective cloud solutions and best practices. • Be an Azure Platform evangelist with our customers. • Understand customers' overall applications portfolio, IT and business priorities and success measures to design implementation architectures and solutions (Microsoft and 3rd party solutions) using PaaS, DevOps & Advanced Application coding. • Define innovative solutions using infrastructure-as-code, deployment orchestration, and automation templates. • Implement PaaS and IaaS solutions in a public cloud platform such as Azure.

Requirements

• Required Certifications: Current CompTIA Security+ CE for IAT Level II 8570 Compliance for DoD Networks. • Required and Highly Desirable Microsoft Certification current Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ305) or 1 or 2 of the Prerequisite AZ300 Exams toward the AZ305 Certification. • Over ten years of professional experience in infrastructure. • Ability to lead the design and implementation of PaaS services, constructs and deployment methods including Database-as-a-Service, App Services, storage and automation. • Enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud security, hybrid infrastructures secure, architecture designs, and technology management. • Must have experience in a client-facing environment and interacting with technical and business stakeholders. • Proven expertise deploying Azure infrastructure with IaC using Bicep and/or Terraform. • Desire to mentor and train internal technical teams. • Passionate about emerging technology, pursuing certifications, and furthering cloud career. • Knowledge of traditional network architecture such as IP Addressing, subnetting, routing, switching, and firewalls is nice to have. • Actively participate in the technical community, including but not limited to contribution to user groups, presenting, writing blogs, Stack Overflow, etc. • Understanding of software development patterns and practices.
