Description

• AKASA is the preeminent provider of generative AI solutions for the healthcare revenue cycle, from prior authorization to claim management. • As a Senior Software Engineer on the Data Platform team, you will be responsible for integrating analytics and reporting output directly into our customer-facing applications. • You will also be responsible for improving upon the existing data platform infrastructure and adding data pipelines to support internal and external data requirements. • You will be positioned within the cross-functional Data Platform team and work in a deeply cross-functional and collaborative fashion across Engineering, Analytics, Machine Learning, and Product. • As a company, we embraced remote work. Requirements

• BS in Computer Science/Software Engineering, or similar • 5-7+ years of software engineering or data engineering experience • Strong professional experience in at least one of the following programming languages (or a comparable language): Python, Java, C#, Ruby, Kotlin • Strong SQL experience • Cloud computing experience (AWS preferably) • Able to work on greenfield projects as well as take ownership of existing projects • Deep knowledge of software development fundamentals including both object oriented design and functional programming • Highly self-sufficient and self-starting in solving complex problems and conducting projects end-to-end • A passion and excitement about healthcare’s unique challenges and opportunities
