📋 Description
• Lead the development and implementation of secure cloud environments • Build automated deployments using configuration management technology • Build, test and deploy cloud-based infrastructure and applications • Contribute to coding of custom test automation frameworks • Assist with setup/maintenance of environments for testing • Investigate and resolve incidents in production support • Document functions and changes to modules and test activities/results • Mentor and drive the team to deliver for customers
🎯 Requirements
• A Bachelor's degree or higher • At least 5 years' experience in a DevOps capacity • Commercial experience in deploying and operating infrastructure and applications on AWS • Developing and operating using open source and commercial software within a cloud environment • Server build and administration, Linux and Windows • GitHub/GitLab for source control and performing code reviews • CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code, e.g. Terraform and Ansible • Test Driven Development with appropriate tools • Experience of cloud orchestration and containerisation technologies, e.g. Kubernetes and Docker • Knowledge of large-scale databases and distributed technologies, e.g. RDS • Experience of mentoring and leading teams
