Description

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Native American Language Project Coordinator to lead a groundbreaking project that ensures the accessibility of official government documents, signage, and website content to Tribal Nations. • The successful candidate will coordinate translation efforts between government agencies and a team of translators, ensuring the delivery of high-quality written and audio translations in multiple indigenous languages.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Linguistics, Native American Studies, or a related field preferred. • Experience in project coordination or management, particularly in translation or linguistics projects. • Strong knowledge of Native American languages and cultures, with emphasis on the languages specified. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise between diverse groups. • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel. • Experience with audio editing or familiarity with Broadcast Wave Format (BWF) is a plus. • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
