• The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for managing project scope, quality, schedule and resources for large scale, multi-faceted, high risk technical projects. • The position will provide project management expertise including leadership and consistent use of standard tools and project management methodology. • The Sr Project Manager will be expected to work with all levels of the organization across diverse areas and multiple stakeholders to implement solutions, building strategic and tactical relationships inside and outside the organization to support Akumin’s growth. • Specific duties include managing cross-functional teams, developing strong working relationships, driving program roadmaps, budgets, resource allocation plans across multiple contributing teams, and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously. • Create and implement issues management, risk management, communication, change management, and relationship management. • Make presentations to large audiences and serve as the primary liaison between the project sponsor and the project team. • Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. • 5 to 10 years in portfolio, program and project management. • Prior experience leading digital transformations such as Cloud, Dev/Ops, continuous development/deployment, agile methodologies, analytics, artificial intelligence, and RPA/automation. • Proven ability to support a team in driving a project or program from initiation through to closure. • Proven success in effectively managing through influence and directly by prioritizing tasks for both self and team to meet business requirements and deadline. • Self-motivated; able to work both independently to complete tasks and respond to department requests, as well as collaborating with others to utilize resources and knowledge of others in identifying quality solutions. • Ability to remain organized and manage multiple projects in a timely manner. • Possess excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication and presentation skills with the ability to form good working relationships at all levels both internally and externally. • 5-10% Travel may be required. • Preferred: Master's Degree. • PMP certification or equivalent experience. • Agile Certification (e.g., CSM, PSM, SAFe)
