• Field Based in the Oxford area. • Join Alexander Dennis as a Field Service Engineer in the Oxford area and help us shape the future of eco-friendly transport! • You'll be responsible for keeping our cutting-edge buses on the road, diagnosing and repairing vehicle issues, performing both reactive and preventative maintenance, and ensuring all paperwork is completed efficiently. • We're seeking someone with experience in buses or heavy vehicles, skilled in electrical diagnostics and mechanical repairs, and ready to take on a flexible, hands-on role. • If you're passionate about making a difference and excited to work on the latest green technologies, we’d love to hear from you!

Requirements

• Experience in the maintenance and repair of buses or heavy goods vehicles, including body, electrical, and mechanical or a complete PSV or HGV apprenticeship. • Working on modern, high-tech vehicles, it would be great if you have electrical diagnostic skills, ideally using Multiplex systems. • Mechanically you’ll be comfortable with diagnosing and repairing of engines and transmission issues, as well as compressed air systems as a minimum. • Time served PCV/LGV Technician with a recognised qualification such as City and Guilds, BTEC or similar, or equivalent experience. • Required to be dependable, punctual, and reliable with a customer focused mindset, focusing on quality and accuracy, with completion at the highest of standards. • Excellent self-organising and planning skills are key, and a professional manner at all times. • A degree of flexibility is required and where additional hours are worked, overtime payment will be applied. • Computer literate and able to use Microsoft packages. • A Full UK Driving License.
