Description

• Selecta is the largest provider of unattended self-serve coffee and convenience food in Europe. • Hiring a Coffee Equipment Engineer/ Field service Technician to join our Technical Department on a mobile basis. • Install coffee vending machines at client locations, ensuring proper setup and calibration. • Provide training to clients on machine operation and basic troubleshooting. • Perform routine maintenance on coffee vending machines to ensure optimal functionality. • Replace worn-out components and ensure hygiene standards are maintained. • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software issues in coffee machines. • Conduct efficient repairs and minimize equipment downtime. • Maintain a stock of spare parts, tools, and cleaning supplies. • Accurately document inventory usage and report shortages. • Provide exceptional client service during installations and maintenance visits. • Respond promptly to service requests, prioritizing urgent issues. • Maintain accurate records of service visits, including diagnostics, repairs, and completed tasks. • Submit reports on machine performance trends and recurring issues.

Requirements

• Proven experience in repairing and maintaining coffee machines or similar vending equipment. • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and software faults. • Knowledge of major coffee vending machine brands (e.g., Nespresso, La Marzocco, Jura, etc.) is a plus. • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. • Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge. • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client sites. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. • Commitment to delivering high-quality service with a customer-first approach.
