• Providing vision and leadership to global sprint teams supporting our Worklife Platform • Leading the application development team and develop plans that maximize return on investment for the company • Leading teams managing all aspects of application development across multiple functions, business units and business lines • Initiating, planning, scheduling, controlling, and bring to closure multiple high priority projects • Developing and leading a Agile software development approach that improves velocity, while maintaining a focus on both quality and scalability • Fostering a customer service mind-set throughout the application development team, while championing thought leadership and partnership with the business • Seeking out, validating, and bringing the technology organization innovative best practices emphasizing application development • Ensuring application development initiatives are well managed and delivered to meet expectations on functionality, timeliness, and cost • Preparing software development status reports for management, client and other stakeholders • Assuring lowest possible cost of ownership of applications through vendor negotiations and benchmarking
🎯 Requirements
• Work experience as a director of engineering or in a similar senior-level position at an engineering department • Demonstrate experience with cloud technologies and modern human-computer interfaces • Possess experience with cloud technologies and modern human-computer interfaces • Demonstrate experience Angular and Springboot • Show an understanding of agile methodologies • Show leadership abilities with a strategic mind • Project management skills • Have completed a program of study typically requiring four years of post-secondary education or higher educational attainment
