📋 Description
• At Boom & Bucket, we’re on a mission to revolutionize the way heavy equipment is bought and sold in the $2.1T construction industry. • In this role, you will work closely with the Head of Product and lead the execution of the roadmap by managing the software engineering team and development process. • Drive technical execution by setting clear priorities, managing project timelines, and ensuring high-quality software delivery. • Improve engineering processes, balancing speed and quality in an agile development environment. • Foster a collaborative team culture centered around learning, ownership, and accountability. • Provide technical guidance and ensure best practices in software architecture, testing, and deployment. • Recruit and onboard top engineering talent to help scale the team.
🎯 Requirements
• You are an experienced engineering leader who has built and scaled high-performing teams. • You're familiar with the technologies that we use: Postgres, C#.Net, NextJS, React, Typescript, Azure and can take on some development work with about 30% of your time. • You prioritize creating a positive team culture and fostering an environment where engineers can do their best work. • You have excellent communication skills and can articulate technical concepts clearly. • You are comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment and adapting to change.
