• Develop a strong pipeline of leads and opportunities through networking and marketing. • Work directly with sales, business development and marketing to research and prioritize target account lists. • Perform outbound sales activities (prospecting) into the client and target accounts including account profiling to generate new business opportunities. • Through extensive dialogue with potential clients, determine fit and timing to generate new opportunities in a specified account(s). • Nurture existing leads through ongoing phone and email communications. • Understanding customer’s business needs and how our solution offerings align to provide business value. • A high-level knowledge of SS&C’s entire solution suite and key competitors. • Support development and execution of strategic sales plans by utilizing direct marketing strategies, account penetration, sales process management and marketing support materials. • Effectively utilizing SS&C’s team of product and industry experts to advance the sales effort.
• BS/BA degree or equivalent • Fluency in English, Spanish and Portuguese • 1+ years’ experience in business development or inside sales, preferably in financial services • Excellent presentation and communication skills both verbal and written with ability to present using solution selling and a consultative approach and able to establish trust across a range of technical and non-technical audiences including presenting to C-suite executives of major financial firms. • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with CRM and CRM tools and practices • Analytical skills, numerical skills, and an eye for detail • Commercial awareness • Strong presence and sales aptitude. • Strong desire to be part of a winning sales team. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible to changing priorities. • Prior work experience with a technology or service provider in the financial services or risk management industry is required. • Self-directed with an entrepreneurial attitude that is focused on success. • Excellent communication skills and a high attention to detail. • Ability to work with internal teams to deliver client solutions.
