Description

• Under the direction of the Director, AME – Global Automation, this position is responsible for supporting the execution of the global manufacturing strategy. • Deliver best in class performance through the implementation of standard work and leveraging best practices. • Lead projects of varying size and complexity that align with the global manufacturing strategy focusing on automation and digitization. • Partner with various functions during the NPD process to ensure adequate levels of manufacturability on product designs. • Ability to identify, evaluate and implement new technology while maximizing margins.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree required, Masters degree preferred. • Ability to travel up to 50% domestic and global. • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant AME experience with a focus in Electro-Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, machine Controls or Automation. • Experience with distribution, warehousing and/or logistics facilities a plus. • You would ideally have some level of understanding of MES and ERP systems. • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills with the ability to speak and communicate effectively with various audiences at the site level. • Strong interpersonal and high-performance team building skills, with ability to develop collaborative relationships. • Ability to effectively facilitate a group’s activities and discussions using a defined process. • Must be viewed credibly as either an informal leader or a positive influencer of change. • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced and changing work environment. • Knowledge of personal computer applications required (Excel, Word, Visio, and PP).
