📋 Description
• As the Head of Community Engagement, you will be responsible for leading and scaling our community initiatives across multiple channels, to include our overall communications strategy. • You will shape the future of our developer engagement efforts, drive community-building initiatives, and manage our digital presence. • Your focus will be to build and nurture a passionate and loyal community of app/web developers, AI enthusiasts, customers, and influencers who are as excited about our products and vision as we are. • You will work closely with the product and engineering teams to create strategies that foster engagement, growth, and brand advocacy. • This is a senior leadership role where you will have the opportunity to shape the direction of our overall communications and community engagement strategy, from both a tactical and strategic standpoint. • You will drive the growth of our community and advocate for their needs and feedback within the company, while also ensuring that our community is a vital part of our overall brand presence.
🎯 Requirements
• 8+ years of experience in open source community engagement, social media, public relations, or customer success, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. • Experience in open source, AI or other relevant technology startups. • Proven experience building and leading high-performing teams. Able to inspire and motivate others to achieve ambitious goals. • Demonstrated ability to create and implement strategic plans for community engagement and growth. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to engage a wide range of audiences, from technical developers to executive leaders. • Demonstrated understanding of AI technologies, developer workflows, and technical ecosystems. Hands-on experience working with developers or contributing to technical projects. • Ability to analyze community engagement data and provide actionable insights. Experience with community platforms, CRM tools, and analytics software is a plus. • A passion for technology, innovation, and AI. An ability to stay ahead of industry trends and understand the evolving needs of our community.
