Description

• Provides operational oversight across the Group Security Departments. • Aims to reduce and mitigate risk exposure and maintain compliance. • Actively manages and facilitates employee performance across the department. • Ensures site operations comply with laws, regulations, and standards. • Leads Security Team to mitigate corporate loss. • Develops relationships with regulators and oversees compliance. • Conducts background checks and coordinates with Government entities.

Requirements

• Previous Military or Law Enforcement experience preferred. • Tertiary degree or equivalent • Fluency in English and French required • 5 - 10 years experience in the Commercial Security industry. • Previous experience in Military Intelligence preferred. • Prior experience working in a remote mining environment. • Computer literate and able to work the Microsoft Office packages • Ability to develop succession planning in a formal manner. • French language proficiency required. • Corporate reporting experience • Previous experience in extractive industry preferred. • African experience a pre-requisite • Good communication skills. • Ability to work with teams of people. • Computer literate – Microsoft word suite
