Lead and develop Finance operation and business planning. Supervise the finance team (2) to ensure the proper functioning of all day-to-day finance administration and reporting. Compile, analyze and present financial reports. Coordinate and lead the annual audit process. Effectively communicate and present critical financial matters to the CEO and Board of Directors.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field; an MBA and/or CPA is preferred. 10+ years’ broad financial and operations management with final responsibility for the quality and content of all financial data, reporting and audit coordination for either a division, significant program or organization. Financial accountability in a technology or nonprofit organization, including grants management, preferred. 5+ years of supervisory experience preferred. Solid knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks) and business software (MS Office, Google, SharePoint, Spreadsheet expert) and experience managing relationships with software vendors. Exceptional leadership, supervision, and motivational experience and skills. Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication and relationship-building skills to effectively work with culturally diverse staff and membership and various internal and external stakeholders. Able to prepare, interpret and present financial data and concepts to various audiences, including senior staff, team members and board members who do not necessarily have finance backgrounds. Exceptional organizational skills, self-motivated, able to work independently, take initiative; possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail and creativity.
