Description

• The Mold Design Engineer is responsible for applying engineering principles to mold and production design • Utilize a proactive communication style to all cross-functional groups and individuals within Altium • Execute Altium strategies to positively impact safety culture • Provide counsel on all knowledge areas and direct support for atypical standards • Responsible for assigned projects relating to blow mold design • Provide technical support to Plant Operations and Capital Project Managers regarding blow molds • Respond to calls for assistance from Plant Operations and lead in developing written goals • Develop and execute capital projects to accomplish stated goals within the blow molds • Assess and improve current tools within the Plant Engineering toolbox • Lead upwards to drive alignment and support throughout Altium’s organization

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in engineering • 3-5 years experience • Mechanical Engineering Degree (preferred) • 3-4 yrs experience working for a national manufacturing or production operation (preferred) • Strong technical understanding of blow mold design (preferred) • Strong user of Microsoft Office suite, with particular strength in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (preferred) • Demonstrated proficiency in use of AutoCAD drafting software and Microsoft Project scheduling software (preferred) • Experience in directing, leading, and influencing a cross-functional team of technical and non-technical professionals (preferred) • Passionate about personal development, goal setting, goal achievement (preferred)
