Description

• We’re looking for a dynamic and innovative Product Designer to join our creative team. • In this role, you will take the lead in conceptualizing and designing visually striking home decor products that resonate with market trends, uphold brand standards, and meet customer needs. • Generate creative and on-trend designs for various home decor categories, ensuring broad market appeal. • Collaborate closely with the Creative Director and cross-functional teams to align designs with brand standards and meet product needs. • Drive the complete product development process, overseeing concepts from creation to manufacturing-ready designs. • Stay informed about market trends and customer preferences. • Oversee the creation and evaluation of prototypes, validating and refining design concepts. • Adapt designs based on feedback and evolving market dynamics. • Analyze market gaps and identify white space opportunities for product innovation. • Lead and facilitate product brainstorming sessions to generate new product ideas and categories. • Create visually compelling presentations to effectively communicate design concepts to cross-functional teams. • Prepare and provide necessary design files for prototyping and production purposes. • Work closely with production teams to sign off on designed products.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in product design, with a proven portfolio featuring notable contributions to home decor product designs. • Expert proficiency in Adobe Design Suite, showcasing the ability to create precise, production-ready design files. • Strong portfolio demonstrating a track record of creating innovative and visually appealing home decor designs that resonate with mass-market audiences. • In-depth understanding of market trends and customer preferences, particularly within key marketplaces like Amazon, Target, and Wayfair. • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, consistently meeting tight deadlines and adhering to budget constraints. • Excellent communication skills to convey design concepts clearly and effectively to cross-functional teams. • Demonstrated ability to align designs with brand image and effectively cater to the target customer demographic.
