Description

β€’ Ensure that project teams and senior leaders leverage best practices in PMF. β€’ Develop project charters with key stakeholders. β€’ Collaborate with stakeholders for project plans and documentation. β€’ Facilitate information sharing and manage project activities. β€’ Document meeting minutes and follow-ups. β€’ Monitor project performance and escalate issues promptly. β€’ Communicate project status to stakeholders and team members. β€’ Manage the closing process and retrospective when complete. β€’ Mentor and advise project team members. β€’ Assist in improving project management processes at AmeriLife.

Requirements

β€’ Bachelor's degree preferred; PMP Certification Required β€’ 7-10 years years' experience in IT project / program management or business systems analysis β€’ Strong communication skills (verbal and written) β€’ Experience in managing multiple concurrent projects, project plans, resource allocation, and priorities β€’ Solid understanding of Project Management methodologies. β€’ Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills β€’ Excellent team building, planning and organizational skills β€’ Experience with tools similar to MS Office Suite including Project, Jira, ClickUp, SmartSheets and Visio β€’ Lean Six Sigma experience/certification preferred β€’ Insurance domain experience (Health, Life or Annuity) preferred
