📋 Description

• Provide effective legal representation and handle moderately complex litigation. • Report to senior manager, legal. • Handle litigation within established corporate guidelines and applicable code of professional responsibility. • Communicate with client regarding file status and progress. • Analyze files as litigation progresses and evaluate cases seeking settlement. • Draft necessary pleadings, papers, and briefs for litigation activities. • Conduct necessary research in support of drafting activities. • Advocate client position in various forums. • Negotiate effectively in resolution of all issues. • Stay current on state statutes and court decisions affecting policy provisions.

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service. • Demonstrated experience preparing civil pleadings, motions and discovery and deposing witnesses. • Demonstrated litigation experience. • Solid knowledge and understanding of rules of Professional Responsibility for the jurisdiction in which they practice. • Solid knowledge and understanding of tort, contract, and insurance law. • Admitted to the state bar in the state where they are located or bar admission within specific timeframes. • Juris Doctor.
