• Join Amgen’s Mission of Serving Patients • Help make a lasting impact on the lives of patients as we research, manufacture, and deliver innovative medicines • Shape the Oncology Therapeutic Area • Serve as non small cell lung cancer clinical expert • Provide clinical/scientific knowledge into the development, delivery and communication of the global scientific/medical evidence plan • Serve as the medical monitor on key clinical trials in lung oncology • Support cross-functional and global collaborations • Participate and provide clinical input into safety and regulatory interactions • Interpret and communicate clinical trial data • Author CSRs, publications, and regulatory submissions • Support product lifecycle management for new indications • Identify new clinical research opportunities

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school or surgical residency AND • 2 years Clinical experience in either an accredited academic setting or private practice (including hospital based) setting • 5 years Clinical experience in either an accredited academic setting or in industry (preferred) • PhD in an area related to Oncology and Molecular Biology (preferred) • Established network of lung cancer experts (preferred) • Knowledge of pharmaceutical product development, product lifecycle, and commercialization processes (preferred) • Experience with developing study concepts for clinical development and clinical trial designs with cross functional input (preferred) • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices (GCP), FDA and EMEA/CHMP regulations and guidelines, and applicable international regulatory requirements (preferred) • Leadership experience/potential as a lung cancer medical expert in a complex matrix environment (preferred)
