Description

β€’ The Marketing Senior Manager at Amgen leads the development and implementation of strategic marketing plans and activities. β€’ They coordinate with other departments, analyze market trends and consumer behavior. β€’ Manage and enhance external relationships with thought leaders and strategic business partners. β€’ Create educational and promotional peer-to-peer content for the endocrinology speaker bureau. β€’ Manage the endocrinology speaker bureau and drive speaker training annually. β€’ Support implementation of marketing strategy via execution of congresses, symposia and peer-to-peer programs. β€’ Work closely with marketing and sales leadership, sales training, and cross-functional groups to develop and execute brand campaigns. β€’ Manage external partners to ensure integration and consistency of strategies, messages and tactics across projects. β€’ Gain feedback on and track marketing program effectiveness and optimize marketing programs. β€’ Work with promotional review committee (MAC) to ensure marketing materials meet brand and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

β€’ Bachelor's degree required; Graduate business or healthcare related degree preferred. β€’ 5+ years of experience in marketing/sales preferably in the healthcare pharmaceutical industry. β€’ Endocrinology and/or Biologic specialty product marketing or sales experience preferred. β€’ Experience working with multiple projects and managing multiple external vendors. β€’ Must have strong planning, project management, communication, and organization skills. β€’ Flexibility to work in a fluid, fast-paced environment with multiple demands. β€’ Ability to develop and execute on the principles of brand management, including brand positioning, messaging & overall campaign. β€’ Requires approximately 25% travel, including some overnight and weekend commitments. β€’ Proficient in Microsoft Office.
