Description

•Join a talented team in using data to inform business strategy and product development. •Build reporting frameworks and narratives to drive strategic decisions across departments. •Collaborate with data scientists and engineers for accurate metrics and reports.

Requirements

•5+ years of experience in a data analyst or related role. •Expertise in SQL, especially its use in data analysis tasks. •Demonstrated ability to turn vague business problems into projects that data analysis and business intelligence can address. •Proven technical leadership in project delivery. •Demonstrated ability to find the narrative in complex data environments and tailor that narrative for diverse audiences. •Experience building and maintaining enterprise Business Intelligence reports in tools like Looker or Tableau. •Experience designing and maintaining systems of reports including making decisions like: a new report should be created, an existing report should be extended, an existing report should be deprecated. •Excellent communication skills in writing and conversation, especially with non-technical partners. •A drive to understand data and key performance metrics and their relevance to our business and product decisions. •Familiarity with ETL/ELT pipelines and related tooling; understanding of relational data models, dimensional data models, and metric creation. •Experience working in agile teams and leading team rituals like Storytime, Story Splitting, Story Estimation, and Retrospectives.
