📋 Description
•Reporting to the Director, Corporate Accounting, this position provides in-depth technical accounting support to the organization and is pivotal in the preparation, review, and filing of public documents and correspondence with the SEC. •This role is instrumental in leading the Company’s compliance efforts related to Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) and acts as a key technical accounting resource for the finance department. •The ideal candidate will be a CPA with experience either auditing or working for a publicly traded company in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry.
🎯 Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business •5+ years of combined public accounting and public biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry accounting experience •CPA •A strong grasp of US GAAP, SOX, and SEC reporting requirements •Strong technical accounting skills, including the ability to independently research and interpret accounting literature
