📋 Description

• The Forensics Consultant is responsible for delivering technology related client services in the areas of forensic data collections, data extraction, data processing, as well as digital and forensic analysis. • Use data mining tools to search, sort, and organize large amounts of electronic information • Deploy off-the-shelf and proprietary data collection, analysis, and reporting tools • Responsible for receiving, documenting, storing, transferring, and returning evidence for forensic analysis and production • Maintains inventory control procedures for all evidence and oversees the release, destruction and subsequent paperwork of same • Create and provide reports relating to evidence handling as requested • Work as part of a team to provide technical solutions to automate processes and functions to improve data storage and retrieval processes.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or experience commensurate with level • A minimum of 7 years of experience collecting and analyzing forensic data; professional services experience strongly preferred • Strong understanding and application of forensic tools such as EnCase, FTK, NUIX • Proven ability to collect and analyze data from various media including: desktops, laptops, tablets, cell phones, social media, etc. • Proven ability to maintain appropriate documentation such as Chain of Custody (CoC) • Certification in 1 or more tools preferred (EnCE, FTK, GCFE) • Willingness to travel and meet position needs outside of regular business hours
