β’ Coordinates and reviews provider files for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations, guidelines, policies, and standards β’ Monitors provider files to ensure completeness and accuracy β’ Conducts research on updated state and federal regulations and policies β’ Coordinates and reviews provider security and background check documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations, guidelines, policies, and standards β’ Prepares, issues, electronically tracks and follows-up on appropriate verifications with providers as related to the security process β’ Prepares and provides information to internal and external customers, as appropriate β’ Enters, updates, and maintains data from provider files into credentialing database in accordance with internal policies and procedures β’ Prepares, issues, electronically tracks and follows-up on appropriate verifications with providers β’ Participates in the development and implementation of process improvements related to credentialing and compliance β’ Prepares and analyzes reports and data and can clearly communicate findings and results β’ Communicates clearly with providers and their liaisons to provide timely responses upon request on day-to-day credentialing and privileging matters that arise β’ Supports multiple team members and projects simultaneously and prioritizes in a fast-paced environment β’ Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
β’ Must have a minimum of 5 years of credentialing experience β’ Bachelorβs or associate degree preferred β’ Prior government contracting experience strongly preferred β’ Eligible to work in the United States β’ Highly developed oral and written communication skills β’ Highly organized and strong time management skills β’ Must be extremely detail oriented and able to multitask β’ Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner β’ All candidates must be able to: Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift β’ Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist β’ Lift up to 20 lbs β’ Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance β’ Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
