β’ As the Trust and Safety Product Policy Risk Manager, play a crucial role in assessing implications of new product features. β’ Develop and maintain risk assessment frameworks to identify and evaluate potential safety risks. β’ Create comprehensive policies and guidelines to address identified risks related to product launches. β’ Collaborate with stakeholders including product and engineering teams to leverage expertise. β’ Analyze misuse potential and harmful outputs of new model capabilities. β’ Craft policy recommendations balancing innovation and responsible AI deployment. β’ Work with T&S enforcement team to develop guidelines for new policies. β’ Stay current on industry trends and proactively address potential issues. β’ Contribute to regular reports on product policy risks for senior leadership. β’ Educate and align internal stakeholders on product policies and approach to responsible AI development.
β’ Understand Trust and Safety policies and safety considerations associated with a wide range of product surfaces. β’ Have crisp written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. β’ Have conducted risk evaluations of novel products in fast moving organizations. β’ Demonstrated expertise collaborating with product and engineering teams to integrate safety considerations into product development. β’ Have familiarity with AI ethics, responsible AI principles, and current debates surrounding AI safety and governance. β’ Have the ability to think creatively about potential misuses of technology and develop innovative solutions to mitigate risks. β’ Have shown strong project management skills with the ability to drive policy development processes from ideation to implementation.
